Hue/Boy Work for Live Art Denmark2017 Live Action Role Plays and various games for Horsens Happening The GamesHue/Boy developed a series of site specific games, one of them a Live Action Role Play (LARP) for the former Prison (Danish Fængslet) of Horsens as part of our festival Horsens Happening. In “Get Out of Jail, Free?”, curious kids and grown-ups where invited to take the roles of prisoners in the former prison building, thus returned to its historical function. Rainham Sheds Works for Live Art Danmark 2014 Concert at Hitparaden 2 Rainham Sheds The Rainham Sheds (not to be confused with these Rainham Sheds), at that time consisting of Kate Mahony, Jenna Finch and Rachel Dowle, played a radical set of post punk songs at our second Hitparaden festival. Jørgen Teller Work with Live Art Danmark 2014 “Static Teller” at Hitparaden 2 Static Teller An amazing set of noisy voice and guitar improvisation of Jørgen Teller’s then brand new solo project. He calls it minimal rock goes synth’n’poetry. Here he speeds up new minimalistic text with vibrant voice-delays, his electric guitar, Le Bastard, and static LFO-synths. Static Teller was created during Teller’s residency at Rotterdam’s avantgarde studio The Worm in early 2014. Teller “pressed rec” and used the studio’s load of old crazy machinery, including an ARP 2500, an EMSi and the Publison DHM89. Kluster Fuck Work for Live Art Danmark 2014 Concert at Hitparaden 2 Concert Kluster Fuck is a Danish grindcore band. They played at Hitparaden 2 on the last day of the festival. Everybody who was feeling a little tired after a massive overdose of three days of performance art got thoroughly woken up. About the Band Kluster Fuck consists of one girl and two long-haired guys. Tyt stands for the vocal part and Petang for guitar, while Hufsa takes care of both bass and drums. Together, they play one-quarter roaring grindcore. J&K Work for Live Art Danmark 2014 “The Cave” at Hitparaden 2 The Cave The Cave is a tribute to the origins of art making and explores liminal states of human and non‐human existence and of becoming other. Over the duration of 17 minutes, a stage is created as a living tableaux, transforming the space into a temporary cave. Five costumed characters inhabit, explore and construct The Cave as they interact, handle materials and paint each other in a slow and yet dramatic choreography structured by light and sound. Nieves Correa and Abel Loureda Work for Live Art Danmark Nieves Correa and Abel Loureda performed “Babia” at Hitparaden 2 Babia In Spanish, the phrase “to be in Babia” expresses to be absent minded, a dreamer. It refers to the Babia Valley, where centuries ago the kings of León went to escape their monarchical tasks. The title is a well chosen, the performance indeed has a somnambulistic quality. In a darkened space, the audience sit in a circle around a small, brightly lit area, a red suitcase in the middle of it. Vaida Tamoševičiūtė Work for Live Art Denmark 2014 “A Piece of my Heart” at Hitparaden 2 A piece of my heart In her outdoor performance, Vaida lies naked on the dirty ground of a courtyard of the venue. She slowly inflates a rubber beach ball designed as a model of earth, and then proceeds to, just as slowly, cut the deflated ball into small pieces with a razor blade. Jack Catling Works for Live Art Denmark 2014 “Remnant” and “Disabled Avant Garde” at Hitparaden 2. Remnant Jack Catling begins his performance at Hitparaden 2 standing on a small, messy stage at Pumpehuset, wearing a black suit and dangling an apple on a string from a small stick he is holding. The performer in a rumpled black suit, staring intensely at the apple, might be a frozen image from a slightly scary forgotten children’s game.
