Kabir Carter Work for Live Art Danmark 2011 Performance for Mary Paterson’s workshop. Performance Kabir created a sound performance in the context of our first seminar on performative writing with Mary Paterson. His work, a sound piece featuring live processing of sounds picked up from the building of Warehouse 9 where the seminar took place, was reviewed directly during the process by Mary and the participants of her workshop. He used the opportunity to tell the story of his court case against Claus Beck-Nielsen, who allegedly stole his identity, by making him a character in the book “Suverænen”. Richard Foreman No work with Live Art Danmark, but in 1999, Gritt Uldall-Jessen and Henrik Vestergaard organized a performance of “Hotel Fuck”, a play by New York City independent theatre legend Richard Foreman, in Copenhagen. The presentation was accompanied by a seminar about the work of the seminal director. In 2007 they established the Open Source Theater and brought Richard Foreman and Sophie Haviland from The Bridge Project back to Denmark to lead a long, intense workshop at Odsherred Theater. Plan B Work for Live Art Danmark 2009 “A Bicycle Made for You” at Berliner Luft 4 A Bicycle Made for You The Berlin based performance duo Plan B created a special Copenhagen version of their tandem riding performance. Each spectator was greeted personally by one of the performers and led to a tandem that was propped up and stationary in a bike stand.
