Our participatory Virak Revy is an entertaining live art evening that includes music, dance, actions and words. The show consists of instructions written by artists such as Yoko Ono, Marcel Duchamp and the Danish Eric Andersen, and they are combined in an individual program for each new venue.
Sitting by café tables, over a glass of wine or beer, you can participate in the actions, tell the audience about your shoe, lift a persons hat with a vacuumcleaner, sing along – or simply watch – as you prefer.
We will frame the actions with a short introduction to the artists and to performance art.
During 2018 and 2019 we have held workshops in scores at festivals in Aalborg, Helsingør, Odense, Nykøbing Falster, Tårnby and in Rio de Janeiro.
The Virak Revy has been presented in its full length at Passagefestivalen in Helsingør (August 2019) and at Teater Nordkraft in Ålborg (October 2019) and in the “Union” Culture Centre in Copenhagen, October 2018.
