Myriam Laplante Work for Live Art Danmark 2015 “The Phenomenology of Doubt” and group performance with Black Market International at Kulstof 15 The Phenomenology of Doubt Myriam performs in front of a blackboard with a piece of chalk attached to its center with a piece of string. She writes the word “doubt” in the highest point the chalk will reach, followed by “art” and “universe” in the lower left and right segments, roughly where the 4 and 8 would be on the face of a clock. She then completes the circle until it reads “the phenomenology of doubt in the post-material universe of contemporary performance art through the study of […]
Jessie Kleemann Works for Live Art Danmark 2015 “Orsoq III, Subarctic Sushi!” at Kulstof 15 2016 Collaboration with Christian Etongo, COLAB Copenhagen 2021 “Orsoq III, Subarctic Sushi!”, participatory version for Playing Up!, Nordic version. Orsoq III, Subarctic Sushi! The figure has a large […]

Márcio Carvalho Works with Live Art Danmark 2014 “False Memories” at Live Art for Børn 1 2016 Co-Curator of COLAB Copenhagen False Memories Márcio performed “False Memories” at the first Live Art for Børn festival. Working with a polaroid camera, various plastic toys and pre-produced cardboard speech bubbles, he went through a series of critical questions and answers about adverstising, toys and video games with his young audience. The rackety soundtrack, playing loudly in the background, was composed of the voice overs of TV commercials for children’s toys and the beeps and explosions of early video games. COLAB Copenhagen In the Spring of 2016, Márcio co-curated COLAB Copenhagen with Live […]
