Spark Opad is an interactive performance about power. The setting is a martial arts competition where spectators battle in Virtual Taekwondo.

Today, raw strength is often seen as honesty—as if the one who shouts loudest or hits hardest is right and deserves power over others.

But what is the cost of glorifying conflict?

• Is victory the same as justice?
• What happens to humanity when everything revolves around strength?

The philosopher Michel Foucault argues that power is not fixed but created between people. Power is everywhere and shapes us, yet no one can fully control it—it is unpredictable and depends on how we respond to one another.

The performance is under development. The final title has not been determined. During the fall of 2025, we will conduct a series of tests on the material.
