Thomas Altheimer (DK)

Thomas Altheimer Thomas Altheimer (also known as Tom Dane, born Thomas Skade-Rasmussen Strøbech; 1972) is a filmmaker, activist, comedian, conceptual and performance artist. He is an alumnus of the now defunct London Consortium (Birkbeck College) and holds a PhD in art practice from Goldsmiths College. He was awarded his doctorate in 2012 for the thesis “Fictioneering Rogues, or, The End of the Artist”. Altheimer is known for using his identity as a site for political experimentation and exploration. Terra Nova (DK)

Terra Nova Terra Nova is a group of full- and part-time performance-artists, who have been working together since 1999. The current artistic leader is Jens Bäckvall. Terra Nova works mostly with interaction with and manipulation of the audience in intimate one-to-one scenarios, either in public space or within specially designed installations. A lot of the work is concerned with different aspects of communication, existentialism and rituals as wellcollaborations with ngo’s to highlight socio-political problems and agendas. Tero Nauha Tero Nauha studied at Lahti Art Institute (1990-1995), Poznan Art Academy, Poland (1995-96) and in Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam (1999-2000). Her work draws inspiration from her own experience as a non-European Union citizen, a traveler and female artist. Ostojić has lived in Serbia, Slovenia, France, and Germany, but refuses to claim any particular nationality. Ostojić’s grand theme is the “arrogance of the EU” with regards to the integration of south-eastern Europe into the union. Søren Dahlgaard Søren Dahlgaard (1973) studied at the Slade School of Fine Arts in London and graduated in 2002. In the work of Søren Dahlgaard, method is challenged though narrative. He incorporates a type of understated slapstick in his work. This is mostly apparent in his performances and staged photography series. Søren Berner Søren Berner has been performing and exhibiting since 2002. He is working in a cross-over between visual art, performance, music, urban activism and philosophy.
